We offer a variety of affordable Direct Cremation Packages to meet your family's needs, from our very basic Simple Cremation Package to our Premium, Veteran and Private Family Goodbye Cremation Packages.  If you don't see one that has everything you need we can always create a Custom Package by starting with any one of these packages and adding any additional items or services that you would like.  Please see the General Price List below with itemized pricing for any additional services or merchandise that can be added.

Simple Cremation Package - $945

Simple Cremation Includes:

Removal and transport from place of death (up to 50 mile radius)

For our US Veterans we have a special package that includes everything in our Simple Cremation Package as well as the following:

Arrange with the veterans national scheduling office for internment at the National Cemetery of your choice

Courier delivery of cremated remains to Sarasota National Cemetery

Assist in obtaining military honors.

Our Premium Direct Cremation Package is the next step above Simple Cremation. In addition to our simple cremation service we offer the following:

Assistance with composition and submission of Obituaries to your newspaper and/or Obituary on our Website (Newspaper Publication NOTE: Fees are the responsibility of decedents family)

A premium wooden laminate urn or brushed bronze "Snap-Lock" urn or Premium Brass or Alloy Urn

Delivery of ashes and death certificates within a 50 Mile Radius

For our Families that would like to have a Private Family Goodbye with their loved one prior to Cremation we over everything in our Simple Cremation Package as well as the following:

Private Viewing of non-embalmed remains at our facility with up to 10 family members for 30 minutes

Presentation of loved one in a Coverlet Alternative Container for respectful viewing

Other preparation of non-embalmed remains

*Simple Cremation Includes:

Refrigeration and shelter at our facility

Arrangement Conference either at our office, or over the phone and email/online

 General Price List

These prices are effective as of October 1, 2023 but are subject to change without notice.

 

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected. There may be extra charges for other items such as cemetery fees and flowers.



BASIC SERVICES OF THE FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF: $1975.00

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral
arrangements you select.
(This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and
forwarding or receiving remains.)
This fee includes the following:

  • Personnel available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to the initial call.

  • Arrangement conference.

  • Coordinating service plans with cemetery, crematory, and/or other parties involved in
    the final disposition of the deceased.

  • Clerical assistance in the completion of various forms associated with a direct cremation.

  • Securing and recording the death certificate and disposition permit.

  • Also covers overhead, such as facility maintenance, equipment and inventory cost,
    insurance and administration expenses, and governmental compliance.


PREPARATION OF THE BODY:

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by state law. Embalming may
be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as funeral with
viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement
that does not require you to pay for it, such as a direct cremation or immediate burial.

been received but we have not received signed cremation authorization
from all Legal Next of Kin in the same class, then beginning on day 15
additional storage fees may be added.

FORWARDING OF REMAINS TO ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME: $1995.00

This charge includes removal of remains, basic services of staff, necessary
authorizations, embalming, and local transportation (excluding shipping
charges and shipping container). This charge does not include use of facilities
and staff for visitation or ceremonies.


RECEIVING OF REMAINS FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME: $1595.00

This charge includes basic services of staff, transportation from airport,
transportation of remains to cemetery or crematory. This charge does not
include visitation or ceremonies.


DIRECT CREMATIONS: $1095.00 - $1395.00

If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container.
Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like
fiberboard, or composition materials (with or without an outside covering).
The containers we provide are fiberboard and unfinished wood box.
Our charges for direct cremation (without ceremony) include: Removal of
remains, transportation to crematory, refrigeration, necessary authorizations
and permits, a proportionate share of overhead costs and basic services of
funeral director and staff. The crematory fee of $350.00 (up to 350 lbs.) is
included in the charges below.

In addition to our simple cremation service we offer the following, Inclusion:
6 certified copies of Death Certificate, Assistance with composition of Obituaries as
well as sending obituaries to your newspaper (Newspaper Publication NOTE: Fees
are the responsibility of decedents family), a premium wooden laminate urn or brushed
bronze "Snap-Lock" urn or Premium Brass or Alloy Urn, up to $195 value or $195 credit
towards a higher valued premium urn. We include delivery of ashes and death
certificates within a 50 Mile Radius.


Veteran Premium Direct Cremation $1,495.00
+ Medical Examiner Fee *(if applicable)

For our US Veterans we have a special package that includes everything in our
Premium Direct Cremation Package as well as the following: we will arrange with the
Veterans National Scheduling office for internment at the national cemetery of your
choice, transportation of cremated remains to Sarasota National Cemetery and assist
in obtaining military honors. **Additional $200 fee required for transportation to
Florida National Cemetery.


Simple Cremation with Private Family Goodbye $1,495.00
+ Medical Examiner Fee *(if applicable)

For our families that want to have a private family goodbye prior to cremation we have
a special package that includes everything in our Simple Cremation Package as well as
the following: a private family viewing for 30 minutes with up to 10 family members at
our facility, presentation of your loved one in a Coverlet Alternative Container for
respectful viewing and other preparation of non-embalmed remains.

 

*The Medical Examiner must review the cause of death for each decedent that will be cremated & give their approval of cremation as disposition before cremation can occur. Most counties have adopted policies to allow the Medical Examiner to charge a fee for this service. This fee is not included in any of our package prices and would be in addition to the above pricing. Please see the fee amount per county of death below.
