Home of AM Cremation & Funeral Care — Serving Manatee County Since 2017

AM Cremation & Funeral Care is located right here in Palmetto, Florida. Our licensed crematory and funeral home facility at 2000 14th Avenue East is the heart of everything we do — and being locally based means Palmetto families receive the fastest, most personal service we offer. When you call us, your loved one is collected and brought directly to our facility just minutes away.

Since opening in November 2017, we have served hundreds of families throughout Palmetto and Manatee County with honest pricing, genuine care, and a process built around simplicity. We are not a national chain. We are your neighbors.

We own and operate our own on-site crematory — so your loved one never leaves our care to go to a third-party facility. From the moment of removal through the return of cremated remains to your family, everything happens under our roof, under our supervision.

If a death has occurred and you need immediate assistance, please call (941) 212-1093 ext. 1. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our Services

  1. Direct Cremation:

Our funeral home specializes in direct cremation services in Palmetto and throughout Manatee County - a straightforward, dignified, and affordable option that doesn't compromise on the care your loved one deserves. Because our crematory is right here in Palmetto, your loved one is always close to home and always in our care. Many other providers contract cremations out to a third party - we never do.

  2. All Cremation & Funeral Options:

Direct cremation is our most popular service, but we offer much more. Families who want a private moment before cremation can choose our Simple Cremation with Private Family Goodbye package - a 30-minute intimate viewing at our Palmetto facility for up to 10 family members. Families of U.S. military veterans can choose from our Veteran Cremation Packages, which include VA coordination, national cemetery scheduling, and military honors. Traditional funeral services, direct burial, and memorial services are also available. View all packages and pricing →

  3. Transparent Pricing:

Our pricing is clear, all-inclusive, and published publicly — no hidden fees, no administrative surcharges, no surprises. The $1,230 all-in price for most Palmetto families is the real, complete price. We encourage you to compare providers, and we're happy to answer any question about what is and isn't included. See our full General Price List →

  4. Compassionate Support:

Our experienced team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer your questions, provide guidance, and offer the reassurance you need. Whether a death has just occurred or you're planning ahead, we're here to help at every step.

  5. Online Arrangements:

We offer complete online arrangements so you can handle everything from the comfort of your home - paperwork, cremation authorization, obituary submission, and payment - without needing to visit our office.

*Submitting Online Arrangements will help us get started on the paperwork but will not dispatch us to care for your loved one at the time of death. You must call us directly at 941-212-1093 ext 1 to notify us of the death and request us to come care for the decedent.
